PEMA JOINTLY HENG EE HIGH SCHOOL-CHARITY EVENT FOR THE PENANG HOME FOR THE INFIRMED & AGED
The aim of the event was to create a platform to share love and respect for the elderly and to give back to society.
Penang Electrical Merchants’ Association (PEMA) jointly with Heng Ee High School organized a charity program for the old folks home at the Penang Home for the Infirmed & Aged on 28th February 2026 to bring festive cheer to old folk and the underprivileged.
Also in attendance at the event were several VIPs- YB Tuan Sanisvara Nethaji Rayer a/l Rajaji, YB Ong Ah Tiong & YB Joseph Ng Soon Siang who witnessed the charity cheque presentations.
The charity event has received an overwhelming response with total cash of RM 54,000.00 raised from PEMA & Heng Ee High School; The Old Folks & guests gathered under the hall and were treated to a variety of food sponsored by PEMA and entertainment from Heng Ee High School students with songs and dances to bring cheers to the old folks living there.
The tremendous success was a memorial moment and brought about a feeling of joyfulness in helping the poor and under privileged with members giving their fullest support. It was an eventful year and thank you to all PEMA members, donors and supporters who had contributed money, time and effort to make the charity event such a success.
